The #NotABarbie Career and Empowerment Conference aims to provide guidance and build community among women and trans* professionals who are uninspired by “lean in” thinking. We seek to uplift and validate the characteristics that make women great employees, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

This day-long conference is hosted by Boston GLOW (www.bostonglow.org) and features over 20 speakers in 3 breakout sessions and 3 keynote speakers.

The event will take place in Wheelock College’s Campus Center Student Residence building.

Owner, Professional Organizer
Greater Boston Area
I am involved in many social justice movements like women's rights, animal rights, climate change, immigrants' rights. Having been an activist for over 20 years, I go to many rallies/protests/marches for a variety of causes as well as volunteering for organizations like NARAL Pro Choice Mass & Boston GLOW.

I started my organizing business in 2010 in order to bring order to people's chaos. I help people declutter their space in a sustainable way. So instead of throwing things out you can reuse, repurpose, reduce & recycle.
