The #NotABarbie Career and Empowerment Conference aims to provide guidance and build community among women and trans* professionals who are uninspired by “lean in” thinking. We seek to uplift and validate the characteristics that make women great employees, entrepreneurs, and leaders. 

This day-long conference is hosted by Boston GLOW (www.bostonglow.org) and features over 20 speakers in 3 breakout sessions and 3 keynote speakers.

The event will take place in Wheelock College’s Campus Center Student Residence building.

Audre Lorde once said “caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” That quote is the foundation for my workshop. The workshop will be interactive, engaging and discussion based, I won't do all of the talking. I’ve included a mix of of activities. Here is a rundown of the schedule:
