The #NotABarbie Career and Empowerment Conference aims to provide guidance and build community among women and trans* professionals who are uninspired by “lean in” thinking. We seek to uplift and validate the characteristics that make women great employees, entrepreneurs, and leaders. 

This day-long conference is hosted by Boston GLOW (www.bostonglow.org) and features over 20 speakers in 3 breakout sessions and 3 keynote speakers.

The event will take place in Wheelock College’s Campus Center Student Residence building.

Whether your goal is to start your own business, become a high-powered executive or grow as a professional, building a personal brand is a powerful tool to compliment your career path and lay the groundwork for future opportunities. This interactive workshop will get straight to the heart of WHY you should build a personal brand and walk through the steps it takes to get there.

 

We’ll begin by establishing your “six word reason” and then delve into a five-part workshop complete with thought provoking exercises that address impactful messaging, establishing an online presence, embodying your brand and how to stay motivated and achieve success.
